McLennan/Ben Solly/Stewart Rose sailing Bowling
for Burgers (VIC) continue their lead of the Australian
Sharpie Championships at Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron
with one race remaining in their seven race series
at Sail Melbourne.
Racing
on windward-leeward-triangle courses in mixed
conditions on Port Phillip Bay, McLennan finished
third in Race 6 today, but his winning margin
has closed, with second placed overall, Jason
Heritage/James Davis/Sam Heritage (Gingerbread
Man, SA) just one point behind having finished
second in Race 6.
Sandy
Higgins/Anthony Mitton/Paul Marsh (One Hump or
Two, SA) have taken over third place overall from
Alan Tidy/Kevin Tidy/Shaun Lawson (Beer and Pizza,
WA) after winning Race 6, currently on 19 points,
just three ahead of Tidy who dropped his 15th
place of today.
Racing
concludes with Race 7 on Port Phillip tomorrow.
