1 Jun 2004 17:32 GMT SAIC look like they are well up with the leaders, their latest report says "Barclays Adventurer is trailing us less than 2 miles behind" which puts them in second place behind Team7

The problem with their position reporting has been narrowed down to an onboard unit - the team will try to fix it but with rough conditions and hard racing, understandably their priority is on deck.

BP Explorer tacked back on to a westerly course and it is now Dee and her crew of The Firm who are exploring the northerly option. We will soon find out what will be the paying strategy.....
