Big Island Challenge - Initial Record Set

Well we finished last night a little after 7:00 Total time (unofficial) 55h11m. The diverse weather systems of the islands played havoc with us. We had it all, several holes with zero wind, beating into 25 kts with 8-10' seas (cracked the keel joint and started taking on about 10 gal an hour after that). Of course we had running with 25 kts and 8-10 behind us.

It was more of a challenge than any of us anticipated and we are glad to have it done and wish any one who wants to take it on good luck.

Mahalo,
Mitch
