Although winning isn't everything, my comrades and
I enjoyed a great season
We won the Volvo Inshore Championship aboard Bravura
the Farr 44 and
Indigo won the J-120 Season Championship for Distance,
Buoy, and Overall
I was very proud to have served as tactician on both
boats. Aboard Vicki, we saved three men from an overturned
36 foot catamaran during the Santa Barbara to King
Harbor race. In 2001 I plan on racing aboard more
than one boat per regatta to bring you Complete coverage
of each venue and event.
I've been a PHRF rater, Founder/ President of the
Fabulous Fifties Fleet, and 9 time commentator for
the congressional cup as well as skipper 3 times.
I've sailed well over 200,000 miles and half way around
the world in a trimaran called Ark Angel.
