The
Cayard Chronicles - 2004
Star World Championship: Day 3
Gaeta, Italy April 27, 2004
Well,
no race today. If I were to go into the details
and tell you everything, I would have to compress
the file in order to be able to get it to you.
The
bottom line is that there was a big brouhaha over
the weigh-in procedure yesterday and the committee
lost the day today.
It
was a picture perfect day: 12 –14 knots
from the west, clear blue sky. The best day we
have seen. We went out for a two-hour training
session. Can’t come all the way over here
and spend $15K and not sail on a day like today.
So
tomorrow is race three. Race two is back in .
. . for now.
Going
to Rome to have dinner with my friend Pasquale
Landolfi of BravaQ8.
Out.
