A quick look at the auction page for John Sweeney's Sausalito Challenge shows that there are a few bids in hand. With seven days left on the auction, the current bid stands at $18,600,000.00, but has still to meet the "reserve" price.

This movement around the auction shows that with a little patience and the ability to lower your price, you can move anything on eBay. We certainly hope that Sweeney and team will be able to get the money to fund their grass-roots campaign to win the oldest trophy in sport.
