Imagined
to be sailed by crews of all levels, this new
generation boat is meant for fleet and match racing.
K-Yachting
has developed the K-One Design 33 with the successful
achievement to create a concept gathering costs
reduction (1 to 4 crew members), easy handling
(no hiking), easy international transport (the
KOD 33 can be towed on a trailer to drive on motorways
(width is less than 2,50 m), moreover the boat
can be shipped in a 40 foot container (rig and
trailer included).
Finally,
the main purpose is definitely to have fun as
sailing this high technology boat is simple and
a pleasure for specialists as well as for amateurs,
with strict building rules that guaranty unmatched
equity between boats.
The main event for the KOD 33 circuit is the One
Ton Cup. Dates and place of the 2004 edition will
be announced in the upcoming weeks. This 105 year
old cup becomes the most important event for the
KOD 33 international class.

who :
Juan
Kouyoumdjian: the designer, is the former architect
of "Prada Challenge2003". He is famous
for his innovative views and concepts such as
Krazy K-Yote 2, first wing mast IMS boat.
K-Yachting:
the distributor, has 15 years of experience in
the sailing competition as boat owner, broker,
event manager. The company successfully managed
the Mumm 30 and Corel 45 classes and has imposed
the Mumm 30 as the official Tour de France boat
until 2008.
