UK Sailmakers - Sojana Storms Across The Atlantic

Peter Harrison's Farr 115 SOJANA recently made the 2600 mile crossing from Gran Canaria to Barbados in 9 days, 10 hrs.Skipper Marc Fitzgerald mentioned 'we took it pretty conservatively, we could have taken a day off if we pushed'

SOJANA is a lovely yacht, with incredible luxuries on board including an amazing surround sound system, and a plasma screen the size of a large window to provide movie and TV entertainment on board.

UK Sails have produced 4 sails for SOJANA, and received this e-mail as she started her crossing :

Put the Gennaker straight to work. It has seen 30kts true and 22 knots boatspeed already, and says "Bring it on!"
Spin. staysail is still in the bag, but might get a run this pm if the wind veers as forecast.
Must get back to chasing the 350 mile day.

The 22 knot top boatspeed was later bettered to 24.6 knots in 35 knots of true windspeed.

SOJANA is currently preparing for the Mega Yacht Regatta which will be sailed in Antigua from 9th to 12th April.
